Terms & Conditions

During the summer and other busy periods bookings will run from Saturday to Saturday.  Outside of these times we will do our best to meet your preferred dates.

A deposit will be required to secure a booking.  This is non-refundable if the holiday is cancelled.  The full balance of your stay will be due 8 weeks before the start of your stay.  You are advised to obtain holiday insurance cover incase you should have to cancel your stay.

In the event of circumstances beyond our control in which we cannot offer the accommodation as agreed we will do our best to find alternative accommodation.  Should we be unable to, we will provide a full refund of all monies paid.  You will have no further claim against the proprietors of Lochan View Cottage.

The letting period will run from 4 pm on the day of your arrival.   We ask that you leave the cottage in a clean and tidy state by 10 am on the day of your departure.

Lochan View Cottage is a pet friendly holiday cottage and we welcome well behaved dogs and other family pets.  However we do advise that there is livestock in the area and that all pets must be kept under the owners control.

We would encourage guests to make use of the garden furniture and the BBQ but to please be careful and remember that all items are used at the guests own risk.  

All damages and losses caused by pets or guests will be charged in full. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if  the property is not being looked after appropriately. In this case no refunds will be given unless deemed appropriate by the owners.

All the utilities including tv, internet connection, bed-linen and towels are provided with no extra charge. There is a fair usage policy for the internet. We ask guests to only use the internet for browsing and not for streaming or downloading material.

Coal and Wood is not provided but we do ask guests to replace what they use for the next guests.

And finally, we ask  that you respect the house, consider the next guests and most importantly enjoy your stay.
